The Waxhaw Wallop 2.0

November 4, 2025 by Richard Daunt

Tonight marks a turning point for Waxhaw – The Waxhaw Wallop 2.0 – much like the first Waxhaw Wallop. Voters have spoken loud and clear — choosing stable growth, stable taxes, and most importantly, residents first.

With the election of Daniel Farris (1,644 votes, 21.61%), Michael De Iulio (1,623 votes, 21.33%), and John Gemignani (1,619 votes, 21.28%), The Waxhaw Wall 2.0 candidates have earned the trust of the people and secured full representation for Waxhaw on the Board of Commissioners.

This means Waxhaw will now have a full board committed to principled leadership — one that values integrity, accountability, and thoughtful stewardship of our town’s future.

Under the banner of The Waxhaw Wall, principled leadership is flourishing in our town. The Wall stands strong — and so does Waxhaw.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Supporters

To every resident who volunteered, donated, made calls, knocked on doors, shared posts, and helped spread the word — thank you. You believed in the vision of a town that puts its people first, and you stood firm in the face of misinformation, personal attacks, and unfair criticism. The courage and dedication of this community are what made this victory possible. You didn’t just help win an election — you helped restore faith in local leadership. The Waxhaw Wall stands because of you.

The Numbers
