Next Tuesday, July 22nd at 6:30 PM, the Town of Waxhaw will hold a public hearing regarding a proposed conditional rezoning of 33 acres located east of NC-16 and north of Waxhaw Parkway East. The developer is proposing to rezone this property currently zoned for Employment Center (EC) use to allow construction of over 300 apartment units across four buildings, and 20,000 square feet of commercial space. Current zoning allows for up to 120,000 square feet of commercial development, with no residential component. Take part in the discussion. Your input matters!
